The "Incoming and Outgoing mail server" are used while creating a setup for your email account on applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Windows Live , a Mobile phone mailbox etc.

When using a Pop server,
It accesses your Email and then Moves it to your to your new account. This causes your Emails to be deleted from your old account.

When using a IMAP server,
It accesses your Email and then Copies it to your to your new account. This causes your Emails to be copied from your old account.



Use the following Port numbers:---
                                     incoming mail server:   143
                                      outgoing mail server:    25



1. For Hotmail :---
            Incoming Mail Server:--
                          For pop server:--              pop3.live.com
                          For IMAP server:--             imap.live.com
             Outgoing mail server:--
                                                                 smtp.live.com

2.For Gmail :---
             Incoming Mail Server:--

                          For pop server:--             pop.gmail.com
                          For IMAP server:--            imap.gmail.com
             Outgoing mail server:--
                                                                smtp.gmail.com

3.For Yahoo :---

             Incoming Mail Server:--

                          For pop server:--            pop.mail.yahoo.com
                          For IMAP server:--           imap.mail.yahoo.com
             Outgoing mail server:--
                                                               smtp.mail.yahoo.com

4.For AOL :---

             Incoming Mail Server:--

                          For pop server:--             pop.aol.com
                          For IMAP server:--           imap.aol.com
             Outgoing mail server:--
                                                               smtp.aol.com

5.For Clara.net :---

             Incoming Mail Server:--

                          For pop server:--          pop.clara.net
                          For IMAP server:--        imap.clara.net
             Outgoing mail server:--
                                                             relay.clara.net

6.For Orange :---

             Incoming Mail Server:--

                          For pop server:--         pop.orange.net
                          For IMAP server:--       imap.orange.net


             Outgoing mail server:--
                                                           smtp.orange.net
7.For  Talk Talk:---

             Incoming Mail Server:--

                          For pop server:--         mail.talktalk.net
                          For IMAP server:--        mail.talktalk.net

             Outgoing mail server:--
                                                            smtp.talktalk.net

And many more Mail servers are still there which are not mentioned.
